Types of high

The type of high depends truly on the amount you smoke. If you smoke moderately, you’ll tap into the Sativa effects of the strain. It will give you about of energy, euphoria, and relaxation all rolled into one.

This is perfect for medical patients that have things they have to get done. Let’s say, however, you finish your day and want to unwind. Smoke a bowl or two of Tangerine Dream by yourself and you’ll quickly hit the couch like a sack of bricks.

The versatility of the strain is one of the reasons why so many people love it. When the strain finally wears off, you won’t feel like you smoked weed, rather bright-eyed and happy.

Aroma & Taste

The predominant flavour/taste profile of Tangerine Dream is as the name suggests…citrusy, orangey and sweet. The smell translates effectively into the smoke as well and you’ll definitely taste the orange undertones within the strain.

Due to its generous resin production, the smoke can be quite harsh. We recommend taking smaller hits at first to feel how the strain hits you. Once you’ve discovered your threshold, we recommend sticking to it.

Growing

Growing Tangerine Dream is no easy feat. Even expert growers can run into problems with this strain. Nonetheless, if you’re going to give it a whirl anyhow, you can expect it to shoot to about 78 inches indoors and provide a yield between three and six ounces per square foot.

The flowering time is also very impressive with an expectancy of 7-9 weeks before full maturity. If you have the right growing techniques on hand, you could stretch the yield to about double of what it normally yields.

Negative Effects

Expect to be thirsty. Smoke too much and you might get dizzy and a bit paranoid. Nonetheless, smoking this in moderation would keep you in the zone. With this strain, it is better “too little” than “too much”.
