Who Is Tyler Lemco?”
If you haven’t heard of Tyler Lemco, there’s a higher probability that you’ve seen his face. You might recognize that smirk; filled with a hefty portion of “did you get it?” It’s one of those “where have I seen this guy before?” faces that leave you scratching your head and trying to figure out if it was from something you watched online or from that bar last weekend.
You may have encountered Tyler in a number of different ways, so don’t worry if you can’t quite put your finger on it.
Epic Meal Time With Tyler Lemco
If you frequented YouTube between the years 2010 and 2013, then you might have stumbled upon that mug while he shoveled mounds of bacon and Jack Daniels into it on the popular food series Epic Meal Time. If that’s not it, then you might have seen him at the 2013 NBA Draft, attempting to convince a franchise to pick him so he could get on stage and shake David Stern’s hand.
Let say basketball isn’t your thing, and you’re more of a politics person, then you may have seen him campaigning around Montreal during the 2017 mayoral election (a position he, unfortunately, did not win).
High With Ty
If we still haven’t quite hit the nail on the head, there is no shortage of potential other places you may have seen this guy. After all, he’s been featured on Huffington Post, MSN, TMZ, The Tonight Show, BBC, Buzzfeed, and many other outlets and publications.
He’s also appeared as the host of web series such as High With Ty, The High-Risk Maneuver, Awful, DeadBeatEmpire, Le Chef Gourmand, and Good Internet Content.
Featured on Netflix and a host of others
Furthermore, he’s been featured on The Boo Ya Pictures Show, Herb.co, King Of The Dot, Ken Block’s Gymkhana, Guinness World Records, as well as the Netflix movie Video Game High School. Or perhaps you’ve just seen the name without the face; Tyler’s written for sites like Thrillist, AskMen, BroBible, Munchies, Playboy, Thump, CBS, and many more.
Or, it’s possible he just has one of those faces.
8 years plus and still grinding
Regardless if you know him or not, there’s no denying Tyler’s penchant for creating viral web content throughout the better part of the last decade. He’s made a career as an online entertainer, in a number of different avenues. It’s not like this is some has-been Vine star who’s been coasting off a couple popular videos.
This guy’s been consistently creating content for the world to enjoy, across a multitude of platforms and via a bevy of different mediums, for 8+ years (and he’s only 29).
After a long stint as a web-based free agent, Tyler recently joined the Higher Mentality team. Much like LeBron joining the Lakers, we’re excited about onboarding yet another superstar to help us reach the proverbial championship.
He brings a positive attitude, a slew of experience, and a creative mind to our roster and will no doubt be a huge contributor to our platform.
Make sure to check back consistently to see what Tyler’s making for you to enjoy, and the next time someone says “wait, where do I know that guy from,” you’ll have the answer.
